Hello phpBB Community,
We would like to invite you all to join us at the Appsterdam phpBB Hackathon. From Nov 9th to Nov 12th 2012, phpBB contributors will come together in Amsterdam to work on cool new features, squash bugs, write documentation and improve infrastructure. You're invited to come and help out! There's work to do for all skill levels: PHP programmers to help fix bugs in the forum software, Symfony experts to help work on phpBB 3.1, all phpBB users to improve documentation, and everything in between. Tickets are free, however we ask that you register on Eventbrite so we can make sure there is plenty of space available, and enough lunch and beverages for everyone.
Each day starts at 9am with breakfast (and coffee!). We will hold a brief discussion, during which everyone can propose projects, and then split into groups and get to work. Just before lunch, we will come together to share progress, eat together, and split into groups again. Around 6PM we'll have a final daily meeting to discuss each project's progress. Afterwards we'll head out for dinner and drinks and meet again the following morning. If you would like to join us, please bring a laptop as well as some ideas for things you would like to work on!
